Barrels

Cesco barrels to suit other makes.

A Cesco barrel doesn’t care whose frame it rides on. Running another make? Talk to your state barrel contact about a barrel built to suit it, with the same pressed-blade construction as every Cesco mixer.

Talk To The Team

Start with a conversation.

Nobody should sell you a barrel before hearing about the one you’ve got. Put your mixer in front of the barrel team and talk through what suits it. Here’s where that conversation usually goes.

  • Start with the barrel you’ve got

Talk through what you’re seeing (capacity, blades, centre band, track ring welds and dished end) and whether the barrel is worth keeping or due for replacement.

    What to look at
  • Built as a Cesco barrel

A Cesco barrel proper: Rheemalloy or Hardox steel, eight press-formed blade segments, joggle-joint seams fillet welded. Matched to your frame and your work.

The Pressed-Blade Upgrade

What a Cesco barrel buys you.

The same construction that goes into every new Cesco mixer goes into a barrel built for another make, regardless of the badge on the truck.

  • Mix uniformity guaranteed up to 50mm slump, NATA approved to AS 1379
  • Press-formed blades, eliminating re-flighting cost and inconvenience
  • Blade mesh for extra foundation, stopping blades splitting
  • Wear-resistant centre band
  • Joggle-joint seams, fillet welded: considerably stronger than butt welds
  • Reinforced dished end with internal chamber for double reinforcing
