Quality at Cesco isn’t a claim. It’s ISO 9001 quality endorsed systems, Australian Standard AS 1379 for mix uniformity, and a blade system approved by NATA laboratories.

Three benchmarks govern everything we build: a certified quality system, the Australian Standard for the mix itself, and independent laboratory approval of the blades that do the mixing.
ISO 9001
Quality endorsed systems
Cesco builds under ISO 9001 quality endorsed systems: Quality Assured production processes and ongoing technological enhancements, applied to every mixer and barrel that leaves the factory.
AS 1379
Mix uniformity
Every mixer is manufactured to meet Australian Standard AS 1379 for mix uniformity, the measure that matters when the concrete reaches the pour.
NATA
Independently approved
Our pressed blade system is approved by NATA laboratories for uniformity of mix. Independent testing, not our own scorecard.

How a Cesco barrel earns its guarantee.
The construction details that let us guarantee the mix: pressed, not persuaded, into shape.
- World-first pressed blade system: eight specific blade segments with precise pitch and spiral
- Mix uniformity guaranteed up to 50mm slump
- Joggle-joint seam construction with fillet welding, considerably stronger than a butt-welded seam
- Press-formed blades eliminate re-flighting cost and inconvenience
- Wear-resistant centre band and reinforced dished end with internal chamber for double reinforcing
Made Here
Cesco barrels are built in our Brisbane factory.
They’re built under the same quality system that governs the whole business. The presses that form our blade segments, the joggle-joint seams and the welding around the track ring are all done here, by the team whose name goes on the machine.
And the design never stands still: Quality Assured production processes and ongoing technological enhancements mean advances in design and materials are incorporated as they’re proven.
