Every Cesco mixer is built under our ISO 9001 quality system, meets AS 1379 for mix uniformity, and runs a blade system tested by a NATA-accredited laboratory.

Three benchmarks sit behind every Cesco mixer: a certified quality system, the Australian Standard for the concrete it delivers, and independent laboratory testing of the blades that do the mixing.
ISO 9001
Quality-managed assembly
Every Cesco mixer and barrel is assembled under our ISO 9001 quality management system. Documented processes, inspection at each stage, and continual improvement apply to every unit before it leaves our Brisbane factory.
AS 1379
Mix uniformity
Our mixers are designed to meet Australian Standard AS 1379 for mix uniformity. That’s the measure that matters when the concrete reaches the pour, consistent from the first load out of the drum to the last.
NATA
Independently tested
Our pressed blade system has been tested for mix uniformity by a NATA-accredited laboratory. It’s independent proof, not our own scorecard.
Inside the Barrel
How a Cesco barrel earns its guarantee.
Every Cesco barrel is our own design, built to our specification and checked when it’s assembled onto the truck here. These are the construction details that let us stand behind the mix.
- Pressed blade system, an Australian first: eight blade segments with a precise pitch and spiral
- Mix uniformity guaranteed to AS 1379
- Joggle-joint seams with submerged arc welding, considerably stronger than a butt-welded seam
- Press-formed blades built to last, cutting the cost and downtime of re-flighting
- Wear-resistant centre band and a reinforced dished end with an internal chamber for double reinforcing

Every Cesco mixer comes together in Australia.
Our barrels and components are made to Cesco designs by trusted overseas manufacturers. Every mixer is then assembled, mounted and checked at our Australian factories under the same ISO 9001 quality system that runs the whole business, by the team whose name goes on the machine.
And the design never stands still. Feedback from the field and from our own workshop goes back through our engineering change process, so improvements in design and materials are built into the next mixer once they’re proven.
